Assigning a Unit

Adding a Unit

When you first open the module, you will be asked to select a Sale Day in which you would like to assign inventory units. If inventory has already been assigned, you will see the assigned lot numbers on the left toolbar.

To begin, you will need to click the "Add" button on the navigational toolbar to begin working with inventory units.

First, select the seller responsible for the sale of the vehicle being checked in.

Next, the "Vehicle", "Property", "Power", "Equip" (Equipment), "Boat", and "RV" tabs allow you to select the type of unit being stocked into inventory. By default, "Vehicle" is selected.

Then, enter the full VIN of the unit. When you are done, press TAB and the decoder will begin to autofill the Year, Make, Model, and possibly the Trim and Body fields. You will then enter the color (interior and exterior), mileage, etc.

In the Check-In section, you will assign the desired, specific lot number or lane designation, and then press TAB.
